Northern Virginia Housing Advocacy
|
Northern Virginia Housing Advocacy (NVHA) was organized in Virginia as a non-profit corporation in 2003. NVHA personnel have a number of years of active military service; have served with the military on every continent of the Globe, with the exception of Antarctica and South America; each one has been personally involved in more than 10 real estate transactions (as a buyer, seller, lessee or lessor) and some are licensed realtors, either retired or active. All NVHA personnel, who are active Realtors, are Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR), certified by the Real Estate Buyers Agent Council (REBAC). NVHA provides FREE educational seminars to active duty personnel on base, at one of the Family Support Activities, or at a nearby local government facility. The seminars are open to active duty, retired and government civil service personnel and marketing or solicitation of the participants by the facilitator/trainer is strictly prohibited. Hopefully, you will find that this website is never static and is eternally "Under Construction"; currently, much work remains to be accomplished but the basic structure is in place and is published to the Web, as is, for the benefit of NVHA Workshop participants. Our MissionNVHA's sole mission is the education of first time Home Buyers on active duty with the military services of the United States. As an ancillary service, NVHA provides on a space available basis, the same educational services to retired and civil service personnel. The educational seminars and workshops are to provide the participants sufficient background and material to enable them to effectively execute an individually designed Roadmap to Home Ownership and place themselves in control of the process that enables to achieve the "American dream" of home ownership! Company ProfileNVHA is a group of retired military personnel (US Army and US Navy) who have in excess of 44 years of active duty; have 33 years of Management experience at the executive level in technical and business organizations; and who have banded together to provide today's warfighter the benefit of our years of experience in buying and selling homes. Our personal involvement with the real estate process have enabled each of us to achieve a level of wealth that would not have been possible had it not been for the TAX FREE benefits we were eligible for, while on active duty.
